24 hour rape crisis line 1-800-656-HOPE - The RAINN hotline will connect you to the local rape crisis center nearest to you. Counseling to aid the survivor in expressing thoughts and feelings about the trauma. Counseling and support to aid family and friends of the rape victim cope with the trauma. Therapy services or professional referrals for therapy. Support groups for survivors of rape, sexual abuse and incest.
Information regarding law enforcement, criminal justice and medical systems. Advocacy for victims by accompanying them to the hospital, Emergency room, to the police station, and to court. Referrals to the appropriate community resources. Assistance with Victim Compensation Claims. |
