Joe Taylor Biography
If you want to see where I went to school, organizations I have worked with and charities I support, just go to my linkedin page.
I know from talking to my clients that after a horrible crime, getting out of bed each morning can be challenging. Deciding to hire a lawyer in the midst of simply surviving can be an overwhelming task. Once that decision is made, however, finding the right lawyer is important. The fact is, these cases are different from cases involving auto accidents, slip and fall matters or other personal injury claims.
I only represent victims of violent crime. I have lawyers across the country reach out to me for assistance with their cases. Victim service agencies call me with legal questions or ask for assistance with difficult cases. I believe the lawyers I face in my cases respect the fact that I don’t play games – but instead offer firm assessments of our cases and rational theories of liability.
When I was 11, I was robbed and assaulted by two 18 year olds. My attackers were never caught. I didn’t think it was all that serious after the fact, even though I had been severely beaten. My injuries healed. The people I have helped over the years have not always been that fortunate. My job is to make sure my clients are fairly compensated for what they have endured and what they will continue to endure in the future. My mission is even more expansive. I want each of you to understand the process and to understand that I live with your stories every day. I will take care of you and always want the very best for your family, no matter what that involves.
The best way to see if you and I make a good team is to simply call me. Talk to me about your situation and let me walk you through the process. Ask questions. If you don’t want to move forward after our talk, I will not try to convince you to take steps you are not ready to take.
I have had great results for my clients over the past 20 years. I plan to keep reaching positive outcomes for the next 20 years.
I live in St. Louis but I handle cases across the country. If I can’t help you specifically with your case, I will always try to find you the resources you need to keep moving forward.
On a personal note, I have been happily married for 20 years (as of 2015). My wife is an incredible art teacher in our local school district. I have three great boys and three not-so-great dogs. I love to fish with my kids and spend a lot of time carting them from one sport to another.
I wish you the best and welcome your call, email or letter.
